Kelston Road, Bath
A contemporary house transformation on outskirts of Bath. The prominent elevated site had the potential to capture fantastic views down over the river Avon and beyond towards Saltford. The site contained a pair of existing cottages and was extended with various additions, including a two story vaulted master bedroom wing and terrace. The first floor was clad in pre-weathered timber to nestle into its treetop environment. The built form responded to its context, with an angular rear extension, which opened up the spaces to enjoy the superb south and west vistas.
